Liz Kase

Liz Kase is an accomplished advisor and executive coach who is fascinated by individual and organizational performance. She is a generalist at heart, but has expertise in talent strategy and planning, organizational development and change, performance management, and HR effectiveness.

Liz spent the first 15 years of her career as a consultant at Katzenbach Partners, founded by Incandescent’s own Niko Canner, and Mercer Consulting. Subsequently, she moved into HR executive roles, most recently as the Chief Talent Officer (CTO) of Marsh McLennan. There she supported 4 C-Suite transitions, played a pivotal role in their HR transformation, and launched a digital-first learning strategy. Prior to Marsh McLennan, Liz was a member of the HR leadership team at PPD, a PE-backed clinical research organization. She launched PPD’s Talent Management and Inclusion Center of Expertise, acted as a Senior Business Partner, and project-led their HR revitalization.

As an advisor, Liz simplifies the complex and develops pragmatic, effective solutions. As a coach, she helps her clients connect with their purpose, set aspirational goals, challenge self-limiting beliefs, and catalyze sustainable change. In either capacity, Liz builds deep partnerships, challenges the status quo, and enables insights that fuel action. She brings authenticity, empathy, and candor to all she does. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University, attended the Talent Management Institute at UNC Executive Education, and is certified by Hudson Institute of Coaching.

After years in New York and Los Angeles, Liz now resides in the quiet, coastal town of Wilmington, NC, with her husband and two delightful (and challenging) sons. She serves on the board of StepUp Wilmington, an organization that helps the under- and unemployed secure sustainable employment.
