Sean Edling

Sean brings to Incandescent his excitement for understanding the drivers of companies' core issues, his love for research, and his entrepreneurial spirit.

Sean graduated cum laude from Princeton University, where he studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Global Health Policy. For his senior thesis, Sean researched the COVID-19 pandemic in Santiago, Chile, revealing epidemiological disparities between different socioeconomic groups within the city. For his research, he received both the Charles M. Cannon Memorial Prize for the best thesis presentation in evolutionary biology as well as Sigma Xi graduating honors. While at Princeton, Sean was a starting forward for the rugby team and held leadership positions in both the entrepreneurship club and outdoor action program. Sean's internships include experiences in consulting and business development as well as academic research mapping the effects of climate change.

In his free time, Sean enjoys running along the Brooklyn Piers, discovering the wonderful sites and shops of NYC, fitness training, and occasionally escaping the city to explore hiking trails and state parks.
